Interior architecture and design
About the project
The brief was to transform an almost derelict space into the heart of the home. The client had recently acquired the victorian property, which had been left vacant and neglected for a number of years. The kitchen became the focal point of the refurbishment, where the client wanted to create a unique and interesting space which would respond to the needs of the whole family.
Work carried out by christie studio
A detailed brief was taken to establish budget, project scope and services required. The site was surveyed and CAD drawings were produced for the whole building. Optional sketch layouts were presented to the client and a preferred scheme was agreed upon. Concept boards were produced in close collaboration with the client and used as a basis for the look and feel direction for the project. Working drawings for construction, including detailed CAD drawings for all bespoke joinery, followed with materials, all supplier liaisons, specifications and samples agreed. On site attendance was provided as required to successful completion of the project.
